Company Overview

Mr. PNC Menon's journey started in 1976 in Oman, where he established the roots of the company with a determination to create the very best in terms of quality and craftsmanship. A services and trade company was set up in Muscat, Oman, as a business for maintenance and repairs, before developing into an interiors outfit. By 1984, the company had set itself on course to win big contracts, driven by a strong reputation for quality work.

Within few years, through sheer perseverance and demonstrated excellence, the company went on to work for the royalty of Oman, Bahrain, Brunei, Qatar, and the president of Tajikistan. Mr. PNC Menon spent the most glorious part of his career designing and developing palaces, royal facilities, and mosques. The Grand Mosque in Muscat bears testimony to his work. He developed a strong bond with Oman and in 1995, he and his family were granted Omani citizenship. A country close to his heart and one that provided him with a strong foundation that enabled him to achieve greater success in the years ahead.

Mr. Menon expanded his business footprint in 2003 to Dubai, the business capital of the Middle East. Dubai’s world-class infrastructure, sustainable economic growth, and access to international talent made this an ideal location to establish Sobha Middle East, a privately held company with a focus on luxury residential development, construction, glazing, metal works, and furniture manufacturing.

With a 40-year tradition of developing world-class homes and offices, Mr. Menon decided it was time to raise the bar even higher. Focusing on his belief that the 3 key elements that make a great home are great design, unmatched service, and uncompromising quality, Mr. Menon sought to create sublime environments that would be home to the world’s most discerning projects like Sobha Hartland. Launched as a $4 billion-dollar, mixed-use development Sobha Hartland is at the epicenter of Dubai. The resort-style luxury housing project encompasses 8 million square feet of freehold community in Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum City where 30% (2.4 million square feet) of the community is reserved only for green and open spaces.

The Sobha Group is committed to education and has shown this through its many charity initiatives across India over the years. In 2015, Hartland International School was developed by Sobha to provide premium UK curriculum school for residents and families from across the region. In 2016, The North London Collegiate School was also added to the Sobha Hartland development project, delivering IB education to students in the region.

Between 2016 through to 2018, a unique collection of 1, 2 and 3-BHK apartments set amidst vast open spaces and immersed in nature were launched and handed over in Hartland Greens. These projects embodied the Sobha signature quality in planning, design, and build. Overlooking some of the city’s most beautiful landscapes, these residential units are a boulevard of luxury living.

Sobha Constructions launched, completed, and handed over several luxury apartments, villas, and townhouses designed meticulously and with utmost attention to detail, between 2019 to 2022. The Creek Vista Reserve was launched comprising of stunning apartments, with green estates spanning 2.4 million sq.ft., providing a living space that is encompassed by luxury and comfort. Additionally, One Park Avenue was also launched during this period and this development offered spacious and exquisitely designed 1, 2, 3 and 4- bedroom apartments in one of Dubai’s most sought-after locations. The Waves and Waves Grande were also launched during this period, comprising of magnificent apartments designed to give uninterrupted 360-degrees views from every home in the tower.

In 2022, the S Tower was launched - a sleek and modern residential apartment located in one of Dubai’s most prominent districts, Al Sufouh. A stunning skyscraper, elegantly designed, the S Tower provides spectacular views of Dubai and boasts a range of world-class amenities.
