- Responsible for Sobha training academy, ensuring employees training and assessment.
- Ensuring/policing quality control parameters are monitored with the Sobha Hartland site premises.
- Responsible for auditing of quality system for all departments.
- Identify training needs, inform the department heads, and coordinate with the appropriate functions for fulfilling the training requirements.
- Actively participating in Q & T briefings and meetings.
- To prepare a QC Plan and ensure implementation during the project
- Decide how often/at stages inspection is to be carried out as per inspection and test plan in coordination with client/consultant.
- Agree subcontractor quality plan with subcontractor and ensure the compliance with subcontractor quality plans.
- Prepare inspection checklist for each major trade (to be submitted along with the method statement, if applicable).
- Carry out site walk together with project team on regular basis. Where required, prepare list of defective works and issue such observations to the concerned person in charge/appropriate subcontractor, where a significant of recurring non-conformance in terms of material, workmanship or performance is identified.
- Issue a non-conformance report (if any deviations) to the site team/sub-contractor and maintain a log of such non-conformance.
- Ensure/conduct random inspection of materials delivered to site.
- Incharge of centralized QA/QC laboratory.
- Ensure all tests are carried out as per specification or as agreed with the client/ consultant.
