Job Purpose:

The Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring stock and asset accuracy through regular counts, discrepancy resolution, transaction monitoring, and system updates. The role supports audit readiness, maintains proper documentation, and works closely with store and asset teams to uphold data integrity across ERP and Asset Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy

• Schedule and perform regular physical inventory counts.
• Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
• Post verified variances in ERP.
• Ensure all count activities are documented.
• Maintain and update inventory master data.
• Monitor daily transactions: issues, receipts, transfers, returns.
• Resolve transaction-related issues with store & system teams.
• Track and report slow-moving and aged stock.

Asset Control Support

• Ensure assets are tagged and listed in the Asset Management System.
• Coordinate and conduct asset counts with custodians.
• Reconcile physical data with ERP/AMS records.
• Investigate and resolve asset mismatches.
• Track asset transfers, disposals, and rentals.
• Maintain accurate records for all asset movements.

General

• Prepare inventory and asset reports for management.
• Support audit readiness with proper documentation.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
