The Facades Design Team Leader is responsible for delivering high-quality facade designs, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that all technical aspects align with project specifications and client expectations. The individual will play a key role in managing the design process from concept to execution, focusing on innovative and practical facade solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development:

   • Create and develop detailed facade designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
   • Produce drawings, specifications, and 3D models for facade systems, such as curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and other external building elements.
   • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive design integration.

2. Project Coordination:

   • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure smooth communication and execution of design deliverables.
   • Provide technical input during design meetings and resolve design-related issues as they arise.
   • Review and evaluate design proposals, providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.

3. Compliance and Quality Control:

   • Ensure that all designs meet safety, environmental, and structural standards.
   • Conduct design reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy and feasibility of facade designs.
   • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, material innovations, and regulatory changes.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, material specifications, and project reports.
   • Assist in preparing technical submissions and presentations for client review and approval.
   • Support the project team with technical queries throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facade design, with expertise in curtain walls, cladding, or glazing systems.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino.
• Solid understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and facade engineering principles.
