Job Title: Senior HSSE Officer – HSSE Audit

Job Summary

The SNR. HSSE OFFICER (Audit) is responsible for conducting comprehensive audits and assessments of an organization's health, safety, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. They also provide recommendations for improvement to enhance overall HSE performance.

Job description:

• Develop audit plans and schedules based on organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
• Determine audit scope, objectives, and criteria.
• Conduct on-site or remote audits of facilities, operations, and processes to assess HSSE compliance.
• Review documents, procedures, and records to verify adherence to HSSE standards.
• Interview employees and management to gather information and insights.
• Identify hazards, risks, and potential environmental impacts.
• Verify compliance with local, state, federal, and international HSE regulations.
• Monitor the implementation of recommended improvements.
• Provide guidance and support to enhance HSSE performance.
• Performs special audit/inspection-related projects as assigned.
• Performs other HSSE duties as assigned.
• Preparing audit plan for management review and approval.
• Ensure all audit program steps are addressed.
• Performing tests of controls to determine whether they are operating effectively.
• Ready to work in Night shift.

Qualifications and Skills

• Any Bachelor's degree (Preferably environmental science, Fire engineering, or a related discipline.)
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Certifications in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Extensive knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with audit and data analysis tools.
• Excellent knowledge in MS office.
• Fluent in English & Hindi.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Experience: 

• 6 to 8 years’ experience in Building Construction in UAE.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Highrise building.
