Job Summary

HSSE OFFICER (Audit) is responsible for assisting comprehensive audits and assessments of an organization's health, safety, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in conducting HSSE audits, reporting findings, and helping the team achieve a safer workplace environment.

Job description:

  • Support the planning and execution of HSSE audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Monitor compliance with HSSE regulations, internal procedures, and external standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) by conducting regular checks and reviews.
  • Work closely with Senior HSSE Officers and HSSE Managers on large-scale audits, providing necessary support and contributing to audit preparation and execution.
  • Conduct on-site or remote audits of facilities, operations, and processes to assess HSSE compliance.
  • Review documents, procedures, and records to verify adherence to HSSE standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, incidents, risk assessments, and corrective actions in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify hazards, risks, and potential environmental impacts.
  • Verify compliance with local, state, federal, and international HSE regulations.
  • Monitor the implementation of recommended improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to enhance HSSE performance.
  • Performs special audit/inspection-related projects as assigned.
  • Performs other HSSE duties as assigned.
  • Ensure all audit program steps are addressed.
  • Performing tests of controls to determine whether they are operating effectively.
  • Ready to work in Night shift.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Any Bachelor's degree (preferably environmental science, Fire engineering, or a related discipline).
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Certifications in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of HSSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with audit and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent knowledge in MS office.
  • Fluent in English & Hindi.
  • Valid UAE driving license.

Experience: 

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in Building Construction in UAE.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Highrise building.
