Roles and Responsibilities of a Foreman (Joinery):

1. Supervision & Coordination:

• Oversee joinery projects and ensure work is completed as per design and specifications.
• Allocate tasks to carpenters and workers, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Monitor the progress of work and ensure timely completion of projects.

2. Quality Control:

• Inspect finished joinery work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Ensure proper finishing, fitting, and alignment of woodwork.
• Identify defects and ensure corrections are made.

3. Material & Equipment Management:

• Ensure proper handling and usage of tools, machines, and equipment.
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure availability on-site.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure cost-effective usage.

4. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all safety guidelines are followed on-site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to management.

5. Communication & Reporting:

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other site teams.
• Report daily progress, work challenges, and material needs.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of work.
