4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description: The following responsibilities is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or

modification at any time.

Production Oversight:

· Manage and coordinate daily production activities to ensure targets are met.

· Follow and validate the production plan, ensuring adherence to requirements.

· Monitor production lines to ensure optimal performance and quality standards with effective

utilization of resources.

· Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels for production needs.

· Ensure adherence to production SOPs.

· Identify and promptly address production issues.

· Support the implementation of best manufacturing practices in the factory.

· Implement the SMLT culture within the team.

Quality Control:

· Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications throughout the production process.

· Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team for timely closure of CAPAs for quality observations

and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

Stakeholder Coordination:

· Coordinate with procurement, stores, logistics, and project management teams to ensure timely

material delivery.

· Work with design, maintenance, and quality teams to meet project specifications and client expectations. · Adhere to and promote safety norms and practices. Team Support & Continuous Improvement: · Participate in Daily Standup Meetings (DSM) to review progress, address issues, and align on daily goals. · Actively contribute to a positive and productive work environment. · Engage in continuous improvement projects to enhance design processes and outcomes. · Suggest improvement ideas and assist in their validation and implementation. · Identify and report training requirements for the technicians. Reports: · Prepare production reports for management review. · Ensure accurate documentation of production processes and outcomes. · Maintain records of production metrics, quality checks, and resource utilization. · Present production data and analysis in team meetings using visual aids.

7. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,

Manufacturing, Production Management, or a

related field MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Sr. Engineer: 4-6 years of experience in production management in any manufacturing industry. Engineer: 2-4 years of experience in production management in any manufacturing industry. Jr. Engineer: 1-2 years of experience in production management in any manufacturing industry.

8. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

· Proficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment such as CNC machines, double head

machines, etc / Expertise in various fabrication methods like welding, cutting, bending, and

assembling.

· Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.

· Ability to manage inventory for the line.

· Skilled in production management software and tools.

· Knowledge of quality & safety standards.

· Manages stakeholder relationships.

· Strong problem-solving and Analytical skills.

· Strong multitasking abilities.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
